Undies in Ads - Nivea "Hurry"

As demonstrated in a previous post, given the difficulty of applying skincare products while fully clothed, companies like Nivea constantly feature beautiful women wearing little else than their underwear as a way to advertise their products. This gives them the added benefit of captivated viewers, whether or not they are actually in the market for body lotion!

Musical Undies - Freeform Five

What happens when you combine catchy tunes, elegant choreography and beautiful women in their underpants? Why, the music video for the single "No More Conversations" by the London-based Freeform Five of course! Interestingly, the leading lady in the video bares more than a passing resemblance to Tamara Barnett-Herrin, the contributing songwriter to the track. Same gal?

Hanes Her Way - Mexico

If you're hoping to see ads featuring beautiful women waltz around in their underwear sometimes its best to go straight to the source. This Hanes Her Way ad comes straight from our neighbours down south and it is definitely more... sultry than what we'd expect from the family brand. We've always felt that women look best in simple cotton underwear and this ad is good evidence.

Undies in Ads - Yoplait "Fit Matters"

A beautiful woman frolics in her apartment wearing little more than a white bra and panties. She tries out a few clothes, only to strip back down again. She finally settles on a pair on skin-tight jeans, gives a sexy smile to the camera and turns around as the Yoplait logo fades... wait what? Its a common mantra that sex sells but even we at UndiesAlley find it hard to find the link between yogurt and semi-dressed ladies. We really can't complain; in an ideal world all companies would follow Yoplait's example. To our readers: Have you seen any commercials where a woman in underwear was used to advertise a completely unrelated product? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Undies in Ads - Redwin Skin Cream

Australian brand Redwin puts a sexy spin on a childhood song to promote their skincare cream. We're sure that if this lady was a preschool teacher her class would be much more willing to sing along (well the boys at least).

Hanes "Be You"

In the early 2000's Hanes ran the "Be You" ad campaign, telling ladies around the world that they had the right to underwear that fit their personality and needs, so long as they wore Hanes. We at Undies Alley fully support any campaign teaching women to forgo clothing. "Be pantsless. Be you." The TV commercial can also be found below, in addition to another ad in the series that could only be found in lower quality. If anyone has a better version, feel free to send it our way.

Just Jockeying

Jockey International works different ad agency for each region it sells to. Luckily for us, this translates to many great ideas being generated by Jockey's marketing folks worldwide. Case in point: The "Just Jockeying" campaign run by Jockey India depicts many lovely ladies simply having fun. In their underwear of course. Scroll down to the bottom for a view "behind" the scenes (terrible pun, I know).

We fit America

In the late 80's Fruit of the Loom decided to go patriotic with the slogan "We fit America." And what better way to show the company's pride by debuting ads featuring all-American girls doing American things like brushing their hair and perching over their windows (true Americans don't take advice from Sweden!) in their undies. I am not a personal fan of flag-patterned bikinis so I'm thankful they didn't take that angle. Accompanying television ad also attached.

Undies in Ads - IKEA Curtains

IKEA is famous for cheeky ads and this one is no different. The company generously reminds us that sleeping in your panties (and nothing else) should be cause to find some curtains, lest you become a neighbourhood attraction. A simple shirt would likely deter most of the kids, but who has time for those?

Friday Fun

Courtesy of the folks at Sexy Girls Diary, Laura and Dou just really want to play Twister, clothes be damned! Fun fact: when Milton Bradley debuted the game in 1966, its competitors accused them of selling "sex in a box." Methinks they were on to something.
