Undies Theatre - JoBeth Williams in Poltergeist

Saving the best for last! Capping off our Halloween special is a movie that established the sexual fantasies of an entire generation of viewers- Tobe Hooper's "Poltergeist". Despite being a PG film, this movie has one of the longest and most excessive panty scenes in history, as hot mom JoBeth Williams gets tossed around in every possible way while being harassed by a pervy spirit. Sure, that football jersey and those flower-print cotton panties might not be the most flattering of outfits, but the scene feels all the more "real" because of them. Combined with JoBeth's flattering figure, this scene arouses more than just fear.

Happy Halloween!

Undies Theatre - Amanda Wyss in A Nightmare on Elm Street

The second last feature in the greatest horror movie panty scene extravaganza to ever grace the internet: beautiful Amanda Wyss in The Nightmare on Elm Street. This classic was made on a shoestring budget and managed to cram in similar themes to front-runners like Halloween. To sum it up, have too much sex and you'll die. In your DREAMS! Even though this particular scene plays up scares over titillation, it's hard to deny that Amanda looks fantastic little else than a sleep-shirt.

Undies Theatre - Margot Kidder in The Amityville Horror

As we come to the last few days before Halloween, we are doing our best to be inclusive towards all horror classics. That mean's paying homage to the creepfest known as The Amityville Horror, especially one relevant scene involving the beautiful Margot Kidder. Unlike the other horror movies featured thus far, Amityville siphoned its scares from psychological tension, as opposed to gore and serial killers. Thankfully the producers retained some common tropes, hence the scene below. Despite mediocre reviews, this movie was popular enough to spawn an entire film franchise and we're guessing that the presence of Ms. Kidder had some role to play

Disclaimer: this video shows a bit more skin than average but we're sure 90% of you don't mind one bit.

Undies Theatre - Nancy Loomis in Halloween (Scene 2)

Nancy Loomis treats us to not just one but two scenes featuring her marvelous tush as she diligently continues to wash her clothes and expose herself to the maniac outside (and the audience!). Its interesting how movie babes used to wear more colorful panties prior to the 90s. Nancy's choice in underwear certainly adds to her character's personality and it would be fun to see future scream queens attempt something other than the standard black and white.

Undies Theatre - Cindy Weintraub in the Prowler

The next feature in our Halloween Panty-Scene Spooktacular is the 1981 film "The Prowler". The movie had little to add to the newly established horror genre at the time, but was still remembered for an unflinching filming style that upped the ante for its gore scenes. Cindy Weintraub's swimming pool scene below was arguably the most memorable of which, as the audience is rapidly jarred from a pleasant view of Cindy's finely toned body swimming in her underpants to a horrifying assault as her character is dispatched by the killer du jour. We've let out the really unpleasant bits as the scene of Cindy's late night swim should certainly not be avoided!

Undies Theatre - Jeannine Taylor in Friday the 13th

Next film lined up for the Undies Alley spooktacular Halloween special is none other than the most successful Halloween rip-off ever, Friday the 13th. Interestingly enough, both films went on to spawn entire film series, making Friday the 13th a classic in its own right. Its interesting to see the similarities though- for one, both movies feature an unnecessary but thoroughly welcomed scene of a spunky brunette beauty cavorting around in her panties just prior to getting removed from the script in a horribly violent fashion. That being said, Jeannine Taylor looks great in her undies, and we give her an A+ on her Scream Queen rankings for this scene alone.

Undies Theatre - Nancy Loomis in Halloween

Any fan of horror movies will know that its almost mandatory for one or more of the female characters to have at least one scene dedicated to showing off their choice of panties (usually cotton!). Say what you will about the objectification of female victims, society's obsession with sex and violence, or any other reason for the trend: our analysts at Undies Alley firmly believe this habit developed because everyone is still copying the formula of defining horror movies that established the trend. From shoehorned scenes to tongue-in-cheek references, we are sure the trope is here to stay, which makes our updates for the Halloween season pretty easy to do!

Kicking off our countdown to Halloween, presenting one of the all-time greats that started it all! Heck, it even shares the same name! (And spawned numerous sequels...)

Undies Theatre - Jill Clayburgh in An Unmarried Woman

The late Jill Clayburgh was not only a terrific actress but also a fantastic dancer- demonstrated to great effect in this panty-clad number in the movie "An Unmarried Woman," which earned Jill multiple Best Actress nominations (the movie, not the underwear scene, although we would have nominated her many times over for just that dance alone!!). Much like the previous post, its great to be reminded that even women in their mid-30's still like to kick it in their underwear, and look great in the process. We salute you Jill!

Update: Seems like the clip will not play on video hosting sites. No matter! Download it here.

Undies Theatre - Kristen Connolly in The Cabin in the Woods

Here's a more recent offering: Kristen Connolly does a great job playing the stereotypical "virgin" in the clever horror/action/comedy Cabin in the Woods. A horror movie isn't complete without at least one girl showing off her cotton underpants and this film does not disappoint: Kristen goes pants-less in the very first scene!

Undies Theatre - Unknown Actress in Doctor in Trouble

Doctor in Trouble is the seventh and last film in the "Doctor" British comedy series. The majority of the story takes place on a cruise ship, which certainly have a reputation for getting windy on deck. Although this scene adds absolutely nothing to the plot, you can be sure that the film's producers didn't want to miss the opportunity to blow some poor girl's skirt in the air. The guy behind her certainly isn't complaining!

Undies Theatre - Catherine Serre in Le gendarme et les gendarmettes

Ahh France. Bringing us Bordeaux, baguettes, and beautiful women. "Le gendarme et les gendarmettes" is the last movie in the "Le Gendarme" comedy series, which would closely resemble the lewd humour genre we see today. In this scene we are treated to Catherine Serre's cotton-clad backside as she proceeds to lose her skirt following a high speed chase. The things officers do in the line of duty. We salute you Catherine!

Undies Theatre - Diane Lane in A Walk on the Moon

The ever-beautiful Diane Lane has made a name for herself as the go-to actress for portraying delightfully adulterous women in film. Her talents at breaking hearts in the sexiest way possible earned her an Academy Award in the film "Unfaithful". Before that movie came A Walk on the Moon, where Diane plays a young mother who gets involved with a blouse salesmen, of all people. Another similarity with Unfaithful is Mrs. Lane's penchant for showing her undies, which are oddly cotton and white in both films. Director's decision to contrast the innocence of her panties with the sins of her actions? Or simply because she looks damn good in them? Either way, viewers can't complain! Side note: Isn't it weird to see Anna Paquin play as Diane's daughter in this movie? Better to avoid any thoughts of her scenes in True Blood. Aaaawkwaaaard.

Undies Theatre - Laura Ramsey & Jessica Lucas in The Covenant

Two for one! These beautiful babes bring on the bedroom gossip in a scene from the pre-Twilight supernatural teen horror, The Covenent. Although the movie is largely dominated by shirtless men, the ladies do get some decent screen time while dressed down to their skivvies. Black magic or white magic, we can half the best of both worlds.

Undies Theatre - Milla Jovovich in Kuffs

Before model Milla Jovovich became known to us as "the reigning queen of kick-butt" due to roles in The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil film series, her most memorable scene was likely of her dancing in her undies in the otherwise forgettable comedy Kuffs. After seeing her in so many action movies its heartening to know that the beautiful Mrs. Jovovich is fully capable of having fun. Minus clothing.

Undies Theatre - Marianne Hagan in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

The lovely Marianne Hagan takes the role of Kara Strode in the sixth installment of the Halloween movie franchise. Kara is a sensible mother with an equally sensible taste in underwear, who finds herself being watched by her creepy (mysterious?) neighbour. Don't know why she seems so surprised; as we've learned earlier, panties and windows always make an excellent combination for attention.

Undies Theatre - Lena Farugia in The Gods Must be Crazy II

Lena Farugia plays as a New York lawyer who unwittingly finds herself stranded in the Kalahari desert after a flying tour goes awry. Lacking any kind of skills (and clothes) for the occasion, she ends up flashing her panties multiple times throughout the film, mostly to her embarrassment. Her loss is our gain, as such scenes tend to be rare for obviously family-targeted movies.

Undies Theatre - Amy Yasbeck in House II: The Second Story

Amy Yasbeck struts her stuff in the horror/comedy House II: The Second Story. Amy plays as a ditzy singer hoping to get the attention of Kate, (played by Lar Park Lincoln) who works at a record company. Never mind the fact that the house is completely haunted, as Amy's panty-clad hi-jinks are sure to raise more than restless spirits.
